In France, a trial has begun against a 71-year-old man accused of allowing his wife to be raped by strangers for nearly ten years.
Dominique P. allegedly drugged his wife, Gisèle, whom he married in 1973, for many years. He then invited strangers into their home to sexually assault her while she was unconscious.
In total, Gisèle was raped by 83 men, ranging in age from 21 to 68 years old. Some of these men have since passed away.
The case came to light when Dominique was caught by a supermarket security guard taking illicit photos under women’s skirts.
Upon investigating his phone and computer, police found thousands of photos and videos showing men raping his drugged wife.
In a heartbreaking statement, Gisèle expressed how her life was shattered when police informed her of the horrific events. “They saw me as nothing, like I was an object, a discarded piece of trash.”
